How to Start Your First Sudoku Puzzle

What is Sudoku?

Sudoku is a classic number puzzle that challenges your logic and problem-solving skills. The goal is simple: fill the grid so that each row, column, and 3x3 box contains the numbers 1-9 without repeating any number. Every puzzle starts with some numbers already filled in—your job is to complete the grid correctly!

Getting Started with Your First Puzzle

Step 1: Open the App

When you launch Sudoku '25, the app will open directly on the Play section, where you can begin your first game right away.

Step 2: Choose Your Difficulty Level

Sudoku '25 offers three levels of difficulty, each catering to different skill levels:

• Easy – The grid starts with the most clues. When you enter a correct number, the cell turns green; if incorrect, it turns red.
• Medium – Fewer starting clues than Easy. No color indicators for correct or incorrect answers—it's all up to your logic! (Default setting)
• Hard – The most challenging! Minimal clues are provided, and like Medium, no color indicators are given.

Gameplay Tips

• Editing Numbers – If you need to change your answer, you can either double-tap a number to delete it or use the red X next to the number 9 to remove an input.
• Hints System – You get 3 hints every 24 hours, spread across 3 different games. A hint will reveal a correct number in an empty cell.
• Timer Tracking – The timer is there to help you track your speed! Premium users can access detailed statistics to monitor their progress and improvement over time.
