Understanding Difficulty Levels

Sudoku '25 offers three levels of difficulty, each with its own unique challenge:

Easy Mode – A Gentle Start

• Starts with the most numbers pre-filled.
• If your answer is correct, the cell turns green.
• If your answer is incorrect, the cell turns red—giving you instant feedback.

Medium Mode – A Step Up

• Fewer pre-filled numbers than Easy Mode.
• No color feedback—you won’t immediately know if your answer is right or wrong.
• You must rely on logic and strategy to check your answers.

Hard Mode – The Ultimate Challenge

• The fewest pre-filled numbers—perfect for Sudoku masters.
• No color feedback—you’ll need to be extra sharp!
• Every move must be carefully thought out to complete the puzzle.

Using Hints Wisely

Every game gives you 3 hints to help you when you’re stuck.

What Happens When You Use a Hint?

• A correct number is automatically placed in one empty cell.
• You only get 3 hints per game, so use them strategically!
• If you're roadblocked and need a little nudge, a hint can help you move forward.

Pro Tip: Try solving as much as possible before using hints—it’ll improve your skills and make the game even more rewarding!

Removing Numbers & Correcting Mistakes

Made a mistake? No problem! In ANY mode, you can easily remove numbers:

• Double-tap a cell to erase its contents.
• Use the red X (next to the number 9) to remove your last input.

This lets you experiment with different possibilities without penalty.
